Could be - I always call it a FBH - also another tool to avoid is a nut ****(adjustable shifter) - will round off your minis bolts just looking at them...

No chance of getting a Rover for 6K.

There was a 1989 Rover 998 Auto on eBay with front disks and air con just this week with a "Buy it Now" of $6,000. It attracted bids up to $4,500 but did not meet reserve.

They are out there if you look long enough. :)

Bnichos right, I've seen lots of rovers for $6000 before, usually 88/89 models,
and they already have discs. Some also would have unleaded heads and aircon.

would it be worth buying a first mini for $8000 - $10,000???

or is it worth while to purchase somethin cheaper???

the $8000 - $10,000 car is rebuilt and done approx 1000km i think... supposably no problems with it... :D

If the head has not been converted for unleaded DO IT valvemaster etc are a waste of money I used it religiously for 3 yrs and my valves recessed by 4mm.
