Hi All,

Firstly, sorry if this is the wrong section to post in,
My 66 is blowing the top fuse. I want to track down any possible problems that may be causing this.

here are a few things which may be attribute to it, (considering it used to run)

1) I have no clue
2) the Frontend has been bingled (light & indicator lights not connected) <-- do these need to be earthed?
3) I still have no clue.

I tried reviewing the wiring diagram (I have an original workshop manul), That should help me, but I am better at writing web code than dechiphring wiring diagrams :
The otherhead light still works, the starter motor still tries to crank, but it just whirs over & over, as each time I turn the ignition, it blows the fuse.
If anyone can give me a pointer as to what to check (in order of priority, i would owe them a beer or two).

Thanks in advance for any tips!

unplug everthing on one side of the top fuse and then plug one in,see what works when you plug it in and go for a drive.. ... and

if if blows, then you know what's causing it...

and they should all be earthed IIRC...

top fuse it should have indicators, wipers, gauges, and brake lights... (well that's what it was on mine)
