No, Hay Mini Nationals is on that weekend, It's been running 39 years.... on the same weekend each year. 2nd longest motorsport event in the of motorsport in Australia, next to Bathurst 1000..... Oh yeah and it isn't just motorsport, but a show and shine, just like Qld.. a remote control mini competition, a dinner and a motorsport event, and an awards night. Yep, you won't see me in Qld :?

Cheers

Aaron

So then you are thinking about it right Aaron?

So which crazy guy decided to make them on the same weekend?

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

What he said.................

I think it's just plain rude to have a Mini event on the same weekend as THE 'Mini Nationals'
You can have your little 'fun in the sun' show 'n' shine. I know where the die hard (it's in my blood) Mini enthusiasts will be come the June long weekend. HAY NSW :P :P

And yet THEY expect NSW, VIC, TAS, WA and SA to go up there......
Hay is THE major interclub event of the year, not QLD because they don't want to have to travel.

Bugger. Last year I told myself I would have my van back on the road for the next one. Ain't looking very likely. I should be there though.
