That's a good deal but surely isn't a full retail price is it? Anyhow... regardless of price i reckon the silhouette is better for use on a logo.

If you can't picture that as a mini then you've got problems spaceboy.

Why don't any budding Graphic designer have a crack at some different types and the forum puts it to a vote/poll.

I think that is pretty silly. Not every Mini owner is into forums. Heck, a big percentage of Mini owners wouldn't even have internet access.

In fact, for some Mini owners doing this might have an adverse effect.

i think the current logo is good... but the mini could be more defined but keep the same context looks good, good one to who designed it

i love the ausmini logo
but i think if you want to direct people to ausmini, its more effective if your write it on an old piece of paper, in your own handwiriting,
otherwise it may be mistaken for annoying advertisment, or that you are trying to sell something ....

but that is my thought :)

emme has a point.
its very corporate for a young'un to come up to you with a fancy business card... makes ausmini very commercial (although it hasnt put a cent in my pockets... might have to speak to jobqueen...)

but for those of youse who wanna do it, no one's stoppin you

Awesome idea. I think the reason that most of us are on this forum day and night is because love minis. Anyone who owns a mini does not own it because it is reliable and easy to start in winter. It is because they love minis too. Ausmini has been a wealth of information since i joined and i think that we would only be adding to that with the addition of any new members.

I wouldn't think that it would be seen as commercial. If i got one under my wiper i would love that someone has actually taken interest in my car and would go straight to the website to check it out. I love that i can ask a question and not get the answer from someone behind a shop counter pushing his wares.

Anyway, what are people going to say?? And who are they going to say it to, they dont have a forum to express their views...

Keep it up.

I see both sides of this "commercial" coin, but even if it was an advertisement... if it was called ausmini and someone put a flyer under my wiper and it had www.ausmini.com on it, i'd sure look at it!
