Quite impressive James, looks like the Mini is well set up and gets the power to the ground. Lightened body shell??

They were probably packing it when they almost went past the point of no return!!

how many of you guys have been to the Hay Mini Motorkhana Nationals on the June long weekend? it's an awesome weekend - given that there are so many Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide based AUSMINI members, we could possibly even have a group meet-up. It's basically 7 hours from each of your home towns (3 hours for me )

BTW - that mini looks like it has a solid beam axle back-end, and basically no suspension travel - buggered if I know how he gets it to rotate like that, I guess if you lock the inside front brake and the outside rear brake you could get it to do that - he may well have fiddle brakes, meaning 2 brake pedals or 2 handbrake levers - I've seen that done.

those back wheels aren't spinning when he takes the big right hander and it picks up the right hand rear wheel, it sounds like a mini and it looks like a mini gearbox poking out from under the front so I don't reckon it's rear or awd

something we can all aspire to, tho fiddle brakes aren't allowed at Hay

the website it is on is french, they drive on the wrong side of the road / car, I don't think it's any advantage. Setting a car up for centre steering wheel may be an advantage tho

has anyone noticed that that mini is a shorty??

also it doesnt appear to have a boot, i'm guessing that rear end is a light as anything, coupled with the razor blade tyres at the rear
