Traditionally here in Gulgong, we have our first frost about ANZAC day. This year is different and we have had frosts since mid March.

Yesterday morning I took the following photo for another email group. It was taken at about 7.30 am whil it was still about -5. For the interested we are 300 km nothwest of Sydney in the Central tablelands and at about 650 metres above sea level.

We need to toss a bucket of very warm water onto the glass to clear the screens and even ten it tends to freeze the screen a couple of times until the heater kicks in. We could always start the car 10 mins before we need to go but the mini fouls plugs.

The one all the cars are shown in at the moment seems big enough plus there is lots of stars to be seen at night - a whole sky full in fact.

Its a big big shed. Just a little open to the elements.
