How much roughly to get the valve guide/seals fixed to get rid of the blue-ish smoke on startups?
Anyone knows a good cheap mini mechanic in brisbane?
or am I better off getting a 2nd hand head?

anyone taken their car to a mechanic to do this sort of job?
I'm not wanting to have a full rebuild yet just the worn out part which is causing the smoke.
Can you change the valve stem seal/guide without taking the head off?

no Jack does not convert mini's - he just has a miami you could probably look at (you will need to talk with him of course)
but if you have never been out to see Jack you are missing an experience ..... great guy and knows almost everything that you will ever need to know about a mini
