they certainly have flooded the market.......

I asked a few questions through epay, and got answers worded by a 4 year old.

I am getting my trimmer to make mine. I don't care if it costs twice as much, at least I know it WILL BE quality!

EDIT: go through the sellers ebay feedback and email someone who bought one from them. Ask them what it was like etc....

I've got one of these, and they seem quite fine, but I haven't had time to put it in yet. I've got to do other work first. Delivery was a little late, about two weeks yet he demanded payment immediately and harangued me for it straight after auction end.

It might be a while before I get to put it in yet.

I dont understand why the guy selling these has to list them so many times! With a $99 starting price his fee's would have to be huge considering how many actually sell :?

here is a classic example.....

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Mini-or-Leyland- ... dZViewItem

the list price is the same as the BUY IT NOW price......but it costs extra to put a BUY IT NOW price on it.

and they have 12 currently listed.....

He told me that he has them made in China, I'm not so sure though, I can't understand why you would.....

Anyway, it comes with the hood lining, back corner pieces (The material, not the card) and a strip for beneath the rear window. It doesn't come with the parcel tray (strange I know) but I gave him a few extra dollars and he threw enough material in to make a few.

It's not the correct material, it is close though to the toadskin type with the small dimples and pocks. It'll look decent enough once fitted I'm sure.

Well if its made in China you can probably rest assured it wont fit if its anything like the shoes and clothes made in China.. It will probably be one or two sizes short of being what it is suppose to be IMO...

But will be interesting to see if one fits properly :)..

EDIT

sPeLLinG...

JD is wearing off need another one :)...

There's not too much that can stuff up, I have had problems in the past with where the rods exit the lining. If they are trimmed a little too tight you will get inverted V wrinkles in the lining once fitted, still looks good though. We'll see once I have fitted mine.

I have spoken to a few mini places and they only sell off white at $200 a pop. For $100 in black I'd be interested in seeing those pics. :)
