In that case they should be doing better than under 2L IPRA times, 1:08, they are not so I don't think that's a fair assumption (or maybe not driven on the limit)?
I was merely reflecting on the reasons why I thought the rules have been set, not to remove your opportunity to lobby MRA for inclusion.
I was at the East-West Mini challenge (in 97?) with all sorts of mini's on track and watched as Warwick Augustin pulled a rumoured 240+ down Eastern creeks main straight in his N/A Toyota powered hybrid.
The only thing close to that speed was a crazy little white turbo A-series from Melbourne that drove itself into the pit wall after the driveshaft broke, the scariest thing I think I've seen.
This impressive speed display from Warwick meant he ended up miles in front by the end of the race, unfortuately it may also have been the demise of super mini's....
