Having a blonde moment here..

Is there a difference, and if so, how does one tell the difference between the left and right side of mini van rear bumpers?

I've got 7 or 8 in total - trying to work out pairs etc as I'm going to get rid of some.

Just trying to work out - are there pairs? or all the same?

I'll take some pics etc and put them in the for sale area so I don't get in trouble

One has a few little dents, all the others are straight.

One has a small scratch through the chrome.

The others are good, not 100% in chrome, but good. What do you guys use to polish them? that may fix them..

Hmmmmm only the Clubman Estate seems to "handed" in the Mini Spares Catalogue.....so.....good chance that they are not handed.

handed being left + right handed...

That makes it heaps easier, I was looking at them - thinking they were different, then not.. Easier to ask sometimes.

What's the difference between estate and van bumpers?

Yes, not handed as in they are the same part on the left and right.

The Clubman Estate had wider bumpers that curved around the corner of the body.

Utes had a full width bumper, as the rear numberplate swung off the tailgate. But those bumpers are impossible to find even in the UK.

Is ther nothing this man (bnicho) doesn't know about mini's? I had 2 sets @ home, rushed home from work confident that the left & right were different ..... INCORRECT! Left & right are the same. :?
Anyone know a good contact for having them repaired & re-chromed?
