I'm sure every 1 on here would have a subscribtion to Street Machine Magazine so you may have already seen it, those that dont head down to the ya local Library (newsagent!) grab the latest issue and check out page 56, its a write up for the Wild On Wheels Car Show we had in Cairns a few months ago. You should see a nice shot of me 1967 Cooper S (crap Box) on its display platform I knocked up for it That was a bit of a surprise to me when I got my issue!

It will be featured in Hot 4's magazine as I may have mentioned a little while ago. The photo shoot is all done, just awaiting on a journo to do the story up. Cheers!

I bet you enjoy keeping those red seats clean? I bought two and they gave me the shites so I sold them and bought black ones. When I sold my mini the next mini I bought had the bloody red seats I had sold in it. They are haunting me like a bed dream.

Thanks heaps guys. Ahh the Red Sparcos, they havnt really given any problems with gettin dirty, but the car doesnt get driven all that often. The only issue I have had with them is the passenger seat has started to get a little bit of mould on them from not being sat in. (Who wants a passenger anyway, unneeded extra weight)!!!!! But yeah I'm sure black would be much easier to take care of.

Yeah surprisingly enough the Vice Editor of Street Machine and Photographer for them Tony Rabbitte came up for the show lookin for cars to feature. They only found one a bloody twin turbo Gen III Crappadore. But they did mention to me that car had the quality for the mag but was just not what the majority of readers wanted. Anyways, Ill just have to wait for the Hot 4's feature to come out.

While true that is somewhat of a shame........when you think about it alot of the work that goes into the cars in Street Machine is often the same that goes into the Mini, in terms of the old school cars they feature. Especially when you compare it to most of the cars featured in Hot4's and the like.......no offence to you there Hanra you'll be a standout 8) Im talking about the cars such as civics etc that get featured just cause they have a bodykit etc which has been fitted by some workshop.......

Yeah it is a bit of a shame, I mean Ive seen quite a few cars in the flesh that have been cover cars for Street Machine, Now I dont want to sound cocky here! But I do think that the Mini has been a better built car than a few of them. Photos do wonders for average lookin cars. When u actually see the cars though with the right conditions you see so many flaws in the paint. You can come acros quite a few faults.

Yes Yes I know this sounds like Im being very picky, but I just have very high quality standards, As for Hot 4's Magazine, Im not the biggest fan. Way to much bolt on crap for poxy crap boxes. Most of the owners are like 19-20 yo fulltime students, but some how have enough cash to throw 20-30 grand at an already new car, dont do any work on it themselves, just pay some1 else. Its so wrong!! Just the whole image of both major 4's mags is not to my liking. But hey its a feature in a major car mag so I should stop complaing, right. Done.

i reckon street machine is boring....i used to buy it every month but got bored of seeing basically the same cars in each issue....like V8, hi-stall autos, mini tubs and 9 inch diffs..... dont get me wrong, i like that sorta thing, just there must be room for them to include other cars too. to me a "street machine" is any old car that has been given the works (not just a V8)......but thats why i buy that pommie"Retro Cars" mag these days....that is a really good, varied read :)

Street Machine still show there fair share of non V8's, mostly sixes, hardly ever 4's but just recently the cover car was this V8 new model orange Magna which is just an absoloute piece of engineering artwork. This car was just amazing!!! But the letters that apparently poured in to letters to the editor all bagged the car in a big way.

Its a shame that most of the V8 yobbos cant appreciate a car for what it is, regardless of the bloody badge. Little do most of those tossers know that bassically none of there Holdens or Fords are even Australian. Thanks to Ford US and Vauxhall/Opel. Try tellin a V8 VT Commodore owner that his car is styled on an Opel Omega, and his motor is straight out of detroit. Great ozzy car that is!!!

Whoopps better watch what I say I guess. Gee thats right I own a VT Gen III V8 Commodore!!!
