Jesus hanra.... got the mag today and i must say that is the shiniest mini i've ever seen...... congrats

Thanks for the compliment guys, shiny yes. Thats what an $8000 paint job does for ya car, 3rd bare metal job in 8yrs. And all new chrome work. This feature should be good I hope, we spent from 8-12 doin the photo shoot. Took heaps of shots, Ive had one of the photos blown up to 75cm by 60cm, fully mounted and framed. Looks unreal. Its amazing what a good photo can do for a shity car!!!

Thanks heaps for the support guys, be nice if I could get some respect on the street up here though. This car is still frowned upon by a great deal of the hoons up here. If it aint a V8 Commodore/Falcon then it sux.... Funny that I drive a V8 Holden Commodore everyday and I think it sux!!!!!

And yes MiniK that XP is a wild piece of machinery, they are a great shape!!!

Yobbos, I guess ya get em every where ay!!! Cut a long story short, the car is overkill, I always wanted it to be neat. But just got way outta hand. 1st paint job was start of 97, reasonable job, good enough to strap to school in. A year later stripped car again to get the paint and body and overall quality better.

That paint job took a 1 year to do and a court case followed to get half me money back. Good way to blow $3000. 2 months after gettin the car back, the entire shell started rusting. The car felt like sandpaper!!!! Thats why it went to court.

Next job took a year to do, as the shell was nearly a write off due to rust. But paint/bodywork is flawless. Worth every dollar I reckon.

Muster would be a blast, might consider it. Would need an enclosed truck to bring it down though. See what pans out next year. I might of sold it by then........

I dont think I could let it go for any less than $25 000, yeah sounds extreme for a bloody mini. But the last time I counted my reciepts (a year ago) it came to $46 000. So I highly doubt it will sell any time soon at that price..... Was considering advertising it in Japan some how. I had read an article a while ago that they snap old classic Mini's up. Not sure as to how true that is though.

Hanra... rumor has it that Andy Bamford's Clubman featured in the September Issue of Miniworld.... (won car of the show at mini 45 in uk) is currently in negotiations to sell his mini to Japan....... for a rumored $20,000 pounds....so there obviously is a market for them

Yeah, just 1 of those things I guess. Even though I have owned the car for 8 yrs, it was off the road for bout 5 years in and out of panel beaters and court rooms!!! So kinda gettin over it all ay. I doubt any 1 in OZ would pay the sorta $ figure that I'm chasin. But if some1 did that would be great!!! I wonder if any1 on here knows any more bout sellin Mini's in Japan???
