Mayfair mk2 seats = identical to 30th Anniversary model, except for the tag that you speak of (1959-1989)

This is my rover.

Nope they are 30th seats.
Mine are identical to this, except for the small tag that you see.

Hi

just an update, I ended up getting MX5 seats as I couldnt resist them for being cheap and quite comfy but hugs you nicely.

Now just wondering if anyone's got a pic of how they modified it to fit the mini.

I'm assuming it should be very similar to the recaro brackets that steve1965 made?

Cheers
