This is the platform that my car sits up on. I made it way back in 03, its still looking good tho. Gave it another bit of a touch up of paint, I also wired in another set of lights.

Ive used red dichroic lights, the colour of them change from yellow to deep red depending on the angle u view them from... Directly in front they r red, off the sides go to orange then yellow! Pretty kooky!

There is 2 rows of stainless steel rope that goes around the entire thing, wired through the posts.. There is aluminium angle that covers the top edge of the platform, then blue satin covers the sides of the platform...

Not just yet...... The car show is on the 28th/29th of this Month. Ill have plenty of pics then. But i can show u a shot from 03, this is the 1st time i showed the car. The display setup was pretty basic back then, as i hadnt acumulated any trophies..... Plus had no lights or other props. I was basically a car show virgin!

WHile going a tangent onto stickers.....I was watching a motorsport DVD and I noticed that every Jap car, in japan (obviously) had stickers on their door, small ones listing every company that there products come from. my question is why? Is this to be a wally and to show off or does it give you extra HP as that would make sense, I believe it's around 5 hp per sticker....

5hp??? wow thats a 10% increase on stock. You only need 10 stickers and you have doubles the power wow... Shhhhhhhh dont tell all those guys who spend heaps on motors this... Its so much cheaper to put stickers on

Yup agreed, they had been on there since 97 when i was a 17yo. At the start of this year i decided that i wasnt a teenager anymore. And i gladely ripped em off n tossed em in the bin!!!!! I think stereo stickers were the style at the time? That pic above was from 2003, id only finished the car a few months prior to this, I had originally pulled it off the road back in 98 for the 2nd time!!!

Yeah i did some research on the union jack b4 i masked it all up.... Was actually a big job to paint. Had to lay the blue down 1st, then the white, then the red. And yes get all the angles correct and position the red in the correct spot on the white.

Love the flag but isn't it just a union flag and only a union jack when it's out at sea?

Maybe people call you a wally for having the union jack on your roof?

It's their style.
Let them be

Dunno, i spose u could always consider that the Mini was born in England, and is known as a British Car? Maybe that could b the reason?
