Ive been there done that. Me n my dad originally painted my car when i built it the 1st time back in 97, my dad was a house painter so had all the gear and experience with paint, but houses n cars r two different things.

Was done in 2pac n still looked quite good, but I decided after that attempt id get a professional to do all the work for the 2nd n subsequent 3rd paint job!

Well....... All it takes is money....lots of money!

Yeah 20K of your own money. I painted my own car but wasted a lot of money of lots of paint as I had to practice first, on the car, sand back and do again, and again....For that I could have got cheap pro-paint done. BUt it was a learning experience and I now know how much prep must be done before painting!

me too

Hehe..., Ur car will come u real nice, with after rubbing it, cutting it and buffing it. My car looked worse than yours after painted, It had so much orange peel that it took so long to get rid of 90% I haven't finshed yet.... I'd give my paint a C+ upclose. From a distance a B.
