can't argue with that, it's pretty good value!

I have made and installed my own van headlining. Not a very difficult job.

well i just took out the one out of my old mini, so it does have a bit of the yellow staining from the original glue - but its really not that bad. .. i can put up some pics when i get a chance

From my website (www.justanothermini.com). Different headlining, but the installation would be the same.....

The roof lining is black velour. I sourced this from a wreck, for a measly $40. It is 'as new'. Fitting was a little tricky, but made easier by the stretchiness of the velour. I basically glued and fitted the rear, then stretched and glued the front. Always start in the middle of the window opening, and work outwards on either side. I whacked some old door seals over the roof lining edges, to hold till the glue dried. This was my own idea, and a bloody good one!

After doing the rear and front, do the rear side windows, then the door openings. Cut and glue around the pillars to suit.

One point to note......remember to poke the wires for the interior light through the lining, before you glue it down..... ;-)

Now I would say that a nice black velour head lining is much nicer than a stained, yellowed original one
