Hey all,
I have a Morris mini deluxe and dont have a bootlid badge on my boot, i was lookin at putting one on but arent too sure what they look like on the car?? (the ones that have just the words "Morris Mini Deluxe") How do you attach these badges to the car and wat position on the bootlid?? Pictures of this would be much appreciated. cheers

Ive actually got a set of those badges in really good nick!!! U gotta drill some holes in ya bootlid to fit them as there are shafts on the backside of the badge the protrude throught the panel, u can get these little plastic sleeves that slip over the shaft on the other side of the boot lid, good idea to use some sort of sealant on them to prevent them falling off and ur badge bouncing down the rd......

Are they anything like this one?? its a 3 piece badge.....is that normal??

well there are some on ebay at the moment for $5, thats what triggered me realising i dont have any on mine lol :? but yer they are awesome condition (the pic shown before)

Well if they r that cheap, id say ill hold onto mine, i dont exactly wanna give em away. $10 in my pocket dosnt mean a great deal to me. Mite as well keep searching ebay or try Mini Spares Centre?

The badges have pins that push into little plastic `mouse condoms' :P that are first inserted into the holes in the boot.
They are not fitted to the badge pins from inside the boot.
:idea: Soak them in hot water so they don't split during fitment. :wink:

Here's the plastic `clip' thingy.
It's pushed into each hole from outside until the flange touches the boot.
Then you push the badge in.
As I said, heat `em before fitting- they split easy. particularly in cold weather.

Mine's a Mini Matic but your Deluxe badge just replaces the Matic badge.
No dot.
