Since there are so often people asking about different manifolds (weber and SU) I thought we might start a database with pictures of various manifolds . I have a couple of weber manifolds (gooseneck and mid length) and various twin SU manifolds that I'll take pics of later and post , who else can provide pics ? Ideally pics of the manifold by itself or with carb but especially side on in the case of the weber manifolds for easier reference . Pic's of them in the car can be a little difficult to figure out at times ...

metro turbo manifold (flanges have been milled to 8mm on this one , they are usually 12mm and water conections were cut off). To suit a hif44 turbo carburetor but any hs4 or hs6 or hif38 will fit. There are a water cooler manifold as std , probly not very good for n/a for but work great with boosted aplications.

the second picture show the complete metro turbo carburetor setup althought blow off valve non std and plenium has been modifyed for intercooler.

This is a stocker that i used to use. To suit twin 1 1/4in SU's. Originally i think its off a Sprite. Note there is no Vac take off on this manifold.

These are factory cast manifolds.

The first one is a 1.5" SU standard cast manifold but has had the exhaust part removed with an angle grinder to allow fitment of extractors.



The second one is an MG Metro factory cast manifold to suit a 1.75" SU carb. The exhaust pipes can be cut off to allow fitment of extractors, although the factory ones do flow fairly well, and you can have LCB style pipes made to fit. A 1.5" SU carb can be used on this manifold too.



For split webers, you may want these.... 'R. Longman & Co.' cast alloy manifolds. They are 2 seperate pieces. FIrewall needs a large box section fabricated to allow fitment of the complete assembly.

<EDIT> No , it wasn't saying the various carb sizes , it was whenever I typed the name of the company who made the gooseneck weber manifold and the twin 1 1/2 manifold at the bottom of the post in the post it would come up with error messages and refuse to post ..... Frustration plus .

Note that Warneford `4 inch' one is identical to a Redline 3005- Redline bought the patterns or the company, not sure which.

Twin SU manifold by Lynx, shown here set up for twin HS2s, but can also take twin HS4s or HS6s if you change the studs & enlarge the ports.

Oh and I also had mega trouble with it refusing to post, so it's something to do with L ynx then??!

Yep me too..... I was updating an old post which already had the word in it (all in capitals) and it kept giving me a 404 error. I removed the L word and it updated the post without a problem.
