What about the largest Autobarn Auction at TePuke that just happened.
The guy tried to sell the TePuke Auto Museum as a going concern, but no takers,so only option was to close it down and auction everything off.Over 3000 people turned up!
Prices paid were over the top,and some of the vehicles will never be seen in NZ again :(

thats no the only one, another 160 odd car museam has just been sold up too, its really sad to be honest as we have so many rare and famous cars here, i just hope the ones that have been sold are used, as intended, and that people enjoy them!

Hi all,
Another collection is being dismantled after the death of the owner. Go to Trademe and then to "community", then "Member Profiles" and search "jackbadger". Look at his listings, even a Clubman Estate and a Kimberly.

Regards
Al

The collection I refered to above was that of Dncan Rutherford in Nelson, a man who collected some quite unique cars and most were in original and used condition, few restored.
