The trend seems to be that it is the original looking ones that go for really good prices. Baby boomers want them to sit in the garage of their Noosa holiday home but don't want a hard top or any customisation.
Mokes aren't pretty but they do offer that holiday resort feel. I reckon if you take off the hard top Smokie, you's have much better luck selling. Putting it outside the Sheraton at Noosa would virtually guarantee a sale.

They are when they are just the tub. That's why mine has a multi-point cage, is bright yellow and can stop on a postage stamp. All of the fun but less of the stress.
