i dont understand why they're more expensive than minis

Supply and demand. It's as simple as that. The demand is high and the people who want them are alot of the time in the higher earning class. Not much supply so pushes prices up because the sellers can.

I have been trying to sell mine for nearly 12 months now..

The trend seems to be that it is the original looking ones that go for really good prices. Baby boomers want them to sit in the garage of their Noosa holiday home but don't want a hard top or any customisation.

Mokes aren't pretty but they do offer that holiday resort feel. I reckon if you take off the hard top Smokie, you's have much better luck selling. Putting it outside the Sheraton at Noosa would virtually guarantee a sale.

They are when they are just the tub. That's why mine has a multi-point cage, is bright yellow and can stop on a postage stamp. All of the fun but less of the stress.

The replacement body shells are shite, they look a bit like a Moke but thats about it. They weigh a lot more and their welding is terrible. Mokes also have quite a few parts that aren't mini parts so if you wanted to make one it would be expensive.

Well, they're way less common and way more fun.
