I think it is on the rh side on the inner fender,but will check.

My books have them as thus:

Belgian cars had a plate pop riveted to the cross member under the one of the seats, and italian cars had it on the right hand flitch panel .The numbers for both nationalities were also stamped onto the flitch near the bonnet stay.

Now what is the bonnet stay bracket or the right hand flitch panel I don't know. I am not sure but it may be British for where you put the bonnet stay and the inner guard
