Ouch, you didn't mention that bit! I was just about to suggest you start a trend and post your figures here but that would seem a little harsh now

When i txtd you stu to give you my results i knew something was not right with the engine. It did the same as what happend at taupo pushing oil out the breather pipe but i thought that was because of the hard lh corners and a poorly designed breather pipe and no catch tank.It pushed all the oil onto jai's dyno rollers and lubed them up.Engine run ok after that so nursed it back to feilding but thats when things became really pear shaped

Couldnt really tell you has there been much work done to the head how well balanced is the engine.I have seen big bore engines with a bit of work done to them perform really bad on a dyno and smaller engines with only a small amount of mods show some bigger engines up :D

Hey spaceboy show you as soon as i have done another test on another dyno just to confrim findings yes i know its a different day but im not looking at the whole power thing it was alwaysa a forgone conclusion that you couldnt get 100hp form a single carb on a mini.
it was a 1.75 carb running a BDP needle so its not anything massive.1360cc and a whole lot of lovin

Plenty cars there runnign and got pretty accurate figures for a lot of them and comparitive to std production figures at the crank and most of them were modified in someway or another.
good to see most of the motors i had somethign to do with performed at the top end of the scale. just mike the bugger with his 1430 full noise machine getting 92bhp at the wheels was impressive.
waht carbs do group N cars run over there?????? like greg malures car with a 45 side draught on it?????? not a single SU carb.

Hi Jai,
Most Nb cars I've seen run the good old reliable 45DCOE.

Is this 1360 of yours a rorty roady or a full noise racer??:P

12 months ago I had henry on the dyno at autotec(Eyetie tuner in Fyshwick) and my little 998cc ran 51hp at the crank - I still to this day dont even know what that is at the boots. However power is one thing - fun and good driving scenery is another(and most important)issue.

Bragging rights are good - driving the car that has turned your life into a quest is better IMHO

Hooroo

Jai's engine was built to a road spec and can be driven down the road with ease and the car is roadworthy . I couldnt believe it but like i said i was there along with about 20 other people

My 1030cc LS puts out 40.23HP at the wheels but should produce a bit more once the new head is fitted...
