Not to worry, just be patient... as with most small country towns, these youth will eventually realise there are no jobs or excitment there. And will leave town for the big smoke....

But unfortunatly by then, another lot of tossers will be old enough to drive... And the cycle will continue...

It's all part of growing up :!:
We all did the same years ago with the Minis-from handbrake turns to rollbacks in the main street
Thankfully we are still alive and a "bit more mature"...now

dont slam your brakes on ! its irresponsible and dangerous. Just ignore them. I would be more inclined to question their actions if we were to meet up later on at traffic lights etc etc. Chances are they knew they were being stupid and would just hang their head. If they become aggressive just wind up ye window and lock ye door. If they touch your car you record their details and dob on them to the cops for tailgating and for damage of property.

Did anyone watch Last Chance Learners tonight? I'll do anything to avoid watching McLeod's... Dodgy horses. Give me a car any day! Doesn't matter whether they're young or old, some people just shouldn't ever have a license... They're just not emotionally able to deal with it. Can't handle stressful situations. It's just as bad as adrenalin addicts who don't calculate risks. I'd hate to be driving down the road and have them suddenly lock their brakes because they're having a panic attack. Maybe that's why the Ipswich Motorway is always so slow in the afternoon! They need to bring in some decent form of attitude testing - one that's not too obvious. Perhaps an EQ test..? Something so that only people with a safe amount of mortal fear will be entrusted with the safety of those around them on the roads.
There's a highway interchange 5.5km from my house, it's all a 60 zone. I don't know why. :? I'm the only one who does 60 through it! And purely only because Mr Beattie gets enough money. But I don't feel safe going through there at 60, it's dangerous, just as bad as the fool in the VQ Statesman tailgating me in a 100 zone a few weeks ago... :x
My point is that, either way - be it the aggressive among the P platers in their gutless buzzboxes, the panicky in their V8's, or anyone in between, it seems too easy for people with no "common" courtesy to get their license and abuse people who are responsible... :? End Rant.

i like when people high beam u so u slow down, they keep doing it, u slow more they stay high beamed, so u pull over, they go paast, u pull back on u high beam them, they slow down, hurl abuse and give u finger, then they pull over, then they high beam u, then u drive like a spasticp plate hoon, and bail down a side street, n turn your lights off, u then see them drive past, u wait a minute, then u sneak back behind them, and bam high beam, then ur nearly home....

end of fun night!!

my solution to road rage(all though not tested) is a BBQ sauce squeezy bootle filled with brake fluid

I did that to someone for a Buck's party prank once... He pranked my car when I got married, so I warned him that he would have brake fluid in his washer bottle when he got married... I only put green food colouring into the washer bottle, but I did leave an empty brake fluid bottle in the car. Sad thing was, he didn't even realise his washer fluid was green, or that it "could" have been brake fluid... Most of the other things I did weren't noticed either. :x  The wet flour I left all over his screen was good though - he tried to wash it off with water, so it ran into his engine bay and caked onto the engine.

I got tailgated on the motorway for what seemed like months. Everyday I was getting some scum right up my clacker... (later worked out the speedo was 10km off :( )

Anyway, in that time I decided I had enough but didnt want to cause an accident by slamming brakes or anything... so I decided to turn one jet from the washers UP to shoot OVER my roof...

Well, it was a perfect shot EVERY time... just cruising along, moron up my date and I just wash my windscreen... he backs off completely and turns his wipers on... I go WOOHOO jackpot... He gets close again, blam... more water... then the di*heads do stupid things like overtake in the bicycle lane or go across double lanes or something :(

Hope they dont kill anyone else, dont care if they kill themselves... honestly.

Peter.

Whenever I am tailgated (not in the mini of course) but in the magna or navara, i just stomp on the brakes. Twice I have had two P Plater drivers (from the very very lower end of the intelligence spectrum) run up my back end. First chick lost her license (endangering lives :-) ) and had to cough up 4 grand to repair my magna, second bloke wrote off his lancer (hit the chassis in the right spot) and also had to cough up 2500 to repair the back end of my rio. Two more idiots who learnt a very expensive lesson. I really do think the drivers who tailgate and speed in towns are the lowest forms of life. Coming from a family with young kids, i watch idiots fly past our local primary school at nearly douible the speedlimit, and I just wish they would take their fully sik falcodores out to the sticks and drive like idiots. Better off bruising trees and their pride rather than mowing down some innocent kid trying to cross the road huh?
