What do you want it for , as an original moke (there are better original ones around without custom dashes and carpet glued everywhere) or as a fun machine ? It's a nice looking moke but for my money it's a bit dear . I have a very similar one here that I paid $3,000 for a few years ago . I know their price has increased a bit since but I think you could find a moke of the same quality for $5-6,000 really .

I dont want to go against waht others have said but if this a moke you want then go for it. It is at the top of the prioce tree and may even be standing on an extensions ladder in that respect but it propports to to be a well sorted and much loved vehicle.

If you want it and have that money then go for it.

Just a couple of beware points. It is QLD registered and a 1275 motor. It must have disc brakes fitted to be registered anywhere else. I didn't read the description word for word but i dont remember anything specificallysaying it had discs.

It looks the goods but again its a bit pricey.

At $13K I wish I still had my 1275 californian. It was much nicer than this one. Anyone know where it might be these days ? KLF 428. Tuned length pipes 2" exhaust,45 mm dbrl weber. !8 mpg. But quick. Very quick.

I've seen two galvanised californians go for $11K+ on ebay recently. The owner of this car is on the Moke forum, check out www.moke.com.au for more details / history on the car.
