Hi All,
what is a good tyre and good size to fit on 12" rims. The rims I have got have 145/70 12 rubber on.
What price can I expect to pay?

In 165/60R12 there is not much choice. You pretty much have Sime, Falken or semi slick A048 Yoko's (which I think are actually 55 profile??).

If you can get your hands on Yoko 539's, they are the best road tyres... but are no longer being brought into the country (not sure if they have STOPPED making them, though).

The Yokkie a539s in 12 and 13 inch are still available in the UK.
Maybe they just stopped importing them, or production has become limited,
and the UK get priority?

the general opinion is that the falkens lack a lot of grip

I use Dunlop Formula R DO1J , they handle very well and they will set you back $165 each.
