Greetings all.

My name is Tony, and I have just brought myself a Mini Cooper S Cabrio. I pick it up on Thursday, and time is just not going quick enough! :D

I have learnt a lot whilst browsing this forum, and look forward to contributing when I have learnt enoug to say something worthwhile.

Cheers

Nil Time

Thank you for the welcome - much appreciated! OK here is a photo that I took of it yesterday, just after I had signed up.

I am trading a Citroen C2 on it - a lovely car, but nowhere near the grunt of the Cooper S. The dealer was great - I got to take it out for over an hour, through some great hilly roads...smooth, grunty power, with very quick and precise handling, which is something I am certain that you all know!

Thanks, minidrifter...I rather suspect that a trick of the light (sun/shade) is responsible for the different seat colours! I have been offered the plates...but to be honest, I am not overly enthused with personalised plates...people remember them for the wrong reasons! 8)

Only 3 more sleeps to go!

Cheers

Different seats would have been very special!

As for the heated seats..no, I did not for 2 reasons...

1. It was a demo with 500 km on it, so basically I had to take what it had.

2. I enjoy the cold...tomorrow I am taking off on a 3 day motorcycle ride to SW Victoria...in the middle of the predicted rain and hail. That says a lot for my ability to withstand cold..and the somewhat precarious state of my sanity! :P

How are they to work for, xplosion? From a sales and customer service point of view, they seem the quite a bit better than some Melbourne dealers.

Cheers
