Hi all,

I need to get your opions... (again)

me & my mates are still! on the exhaust issue!

I think it should be run down the front of the engine bay & back underneith the gearbox (like it seems everybody does) & thats how they run on the starlets as well!!

but I am not a mechanic... I am the worst "hands on person" in the world!! but one of my many mates who is helping me with this project IS a mechanic.

I wont lie! LOL!! but he is doing most of the work I am such a massive retard with all this, & he wants to run the exhaust down the BACK of the engine bay,

the turbo is going to sit on top oif the gearbox, & then he wants to run it down the back but I just cant see any logical way on how its going to fit once everything else goes in there! not to mentnion the Heat thats going to be put out so close to all the wiring.

can any of you guys who have done/doing this conversion offer your thoughts?

its really hard as so many mates are helping me with due to my "retardation" who are far more experienced & qualified but they just dont no "mini" fundimentals... I am so grateful for everything they are doing,

but im just trying to work smarter not harder

cheers everyone,

any info would be great

hey man

like I said, its your car, even though your mate is doing the work, it should be the way u want it..

but, run it down the front. there is not much room behind there anymore.

got any update pics?

For what its worth, I would run it down the front of the engine, as per the manufacturers design.

Cheers,
Tricky
