Looks like an ordinary 1.25" SU to me. What are the cast numbers on the side of the carb body? Should be AUC1341 or something similar.

the bit that attaches the carb to the air cleaner... it does a 45* turn.. :)
i don't know why i said quarter... :P


the float seems to be on the opposite side to mine..

You have a HS4 then right? They have the float bowl on the other side.

The pic is of a standard 1.25" HS2 SU carb as far as I can tell. The air horn (yep, that is what it's called :roll: ) which attaches it to an air filter is standard to most of these, allows the air cleaner to sit horizontal. Terrible for air flow tho!

It might be one of a pair, depending on the casting number. Have a look for it, on the side of the body of the carb.

The one you want is AUC1341 i think.

But even if it is this type, it isn't the one that you can build a set of twins from.

That is what always confuses me. I can never remember which is the non mirrored HS2, as the non mirrored HS4 is on the other side! :lol:
