8 out of ten people that drive my mini (non mini mechanics or people in general) cant actually drive it. either they cant find the gears, dont know where reverse is, rev the F out of it etc etc.

Jeepers no.
I know what they do to Citroens (ripping exhaust systems off coz they cant wait a few sec's till the car pumps up) I wouldnt let a Valet loose on any car i actually owned. :!: :!:

Dropping the clutch is usually the second thing, after not finding the gear. Most people (myself included) are just never ready for the short clutch stroke.

I never reverse the mini into a parallel park, it's eaiser and funner to drive straight in :D

We did - ONCE - got it back with the rear end caved in and they just looked at us all innocent and asked - 'was that not how you left it with us?'.
