My A30's both had trafficators. Geez they made a noise when they popped up.

This is a problem that has bugged me for quite some time. It's no surprise that they don't see the indicator flashing when the headlights are on as basically your indicator is the clear parking light flashing brighter. That's basically impossible to see!

One solution would be to fit H4 headlights with a parking light attachment and unplug the original parking light, then the flashing indicator would be much more obvious. This is what I'm planning on doing and is actually how 850s in the UK were originally and had an orange flasher lense.

Don't blame the other road users though, so sometimes they look and see nothing or don't look at all. It's up to us to make ourselves seen and never assume that other road users have seen us.

Anto, is the process to get the parking light attachment going as simple as a plug in and away you go job? I'm no auto electrician.

Not as easy on small roundabouts (nearly every intersection in E.Suburbs where I live for example ) especialy when youre facing a Sydney cab driver who got his licence yesterday and has been at the wheel for 11 hours now and so will ignore you unless you are flashing like a fire truck or untill he's gone through your left door.

A little bit involved but not too hard. Basically you will need to remove the parking light wire from the current light and connect it up to the new bulb in the headlight. Probably not plug & play as you may need to extend the wire a bit and change the connection on the end (it will currently be a bullet connector and you will need a spade). You will of course need to buy new headlights to get ones with a parking light in them. Not expensive and you will also get much better H4 lights in the process. PM me if you want details.

I have good soldering experience, so anything involving that shouldn't be a problem.
