i WAS going to enter this you know. i had this idea of drawing a mini looking at the back on an angle showing the passenger side, with the door open and a series (maybe 8) clowns coming out)

i got as far as doing a line drawing for the mini and 5 people coming out. i can post if you like but i realised at about 11pm on saturday that i didnt ahve time to finish it off properly.

oh well

You might as well post it Dylan , I'd say you've got a few people interested in the idea of it already (not a bad idea for a mini drawing really ) .

We'll see , These competitions are just ideas we as mods come up with and fund ourselves (hence me getting the winning entries , prizes for this one will have cost me around $70 by the time they are posted) , we're always looking for extra ways to have some fun here and unlock some talent . If anyones got any ideas for a simple comp (maybe a kids colouring comp for members with kids if we can find some mini colouring in pictures next ?) we'd love to hear them .

Next comp idea - toothpick minis, building minis from tooth picks. Or minis made from food, like fruit and veggies or something.

Hi all,

I've had a few requests for copies of the sketches I did for the Mini Art competition. I'm sending Sports850 the originals tomorrow. I have scanned the originals with links below so you guys can download a higher resolution version to enjoy!

Click here to download the Clubman drawing...

Click here to download the Round nose drawing...

Don't forget to checkout my other mini art, for the ultimate original gift idea or just pure indulgence at...

Can everybody please remember that as the artist Tim owns the copyright to these images regardless of what happens to the originals so no selling them or using them on websites without his permission . It's very generous of Tim to allow members to download the sketches for free like this and should be appreciated by everyone who does .

Many thank's to Tim for the originals from the competition , I'm honoured to have them in my collection .
