so im nearly finished my dash and center console and i have 3 red lights in a certain position to say everything is all good, l light1 is coil, light 2 is electric fan, and number3 is fuel pressure light and wanted to know if there is a electric sensor for fuel pressure or similar,

if not im just going to wire it in with the fuel pump

Do you mean is there a pressure sender available to measure fuel pressure? Yes any pressure sensor could be adapted but the pressure you would want it to switch on at would be important as well as the running pressure.

I mean if you are running EFI, then an oil pressure switch could be used to indicate a loss of fuel pressure. It will come on at less than 20 PSI which is effectively no fuel pressure anyway.

You would need to provide a little more information of what you want it to do.

I thought that the standard oil pressure senders in mini's came on at 7psi, but you can get upgraded ones that come on at 22psi. Would an adjustable one go that low?

when do you want the light to be on?

when it is exactly 5 psi, not above or below?

Much easier to run a gauge, even if you don't want to. Don't forget fuel pressure guages inside the car have to be a specific 'fluid transfer type so fuel under pressure isn't entering the cabin.
