Hi Guys,

If there is anyone out there with a mini van / estate that is registered, or has been, in the ACT - could you do me a favour?

I need to know what the body type is listed as on your rego papers - ie wagon, van etc.

Many thanks in advance.

Gday minivanman,
I dont have the papers with me but if no one else replies I will have a look this arvo. I am pretty sure they are listed as a van. I know about 15 years ago my van was classed as a light commercial vehicle and cost me about $20 extra, now all the rules have changed. Not much help but I will have a look later and let you know.
Steve.

Mine is the same as Anto's except mine says LEYLAND VAN for obvious reasons. Hope this helps

The rego label on my '65 Deluxe reads LEYLAND SEDAN. Not so sure about that one...

cause in the ACT they only allow for sedans station wagon vans and a ute is classed as a light truck

so for rego purposes a hatchback is classed as a sedan :?

bloody toytown goverments

My estate was last registered in the ACT as a Morris Station Wagon.

I meant the fact that it is rego'd as a Leyland when it is actually a Morris. Technically speaking the Mini is a sedan, not a hatchback anyway.

Thanks guys - my rego papers from 97/98 have the make as Morris and the body type as station wagon.

It has had a backseat in it, just wondering if this confirms it was registered in ACT with the extra seat????
