ok, pretty new to SA and Australia in general. Looking to buy myself my first Australian mini.... So.... How much is a clubman van all intact and working worth? no rust but needing a new paint job as was taken back but never resprayed. So its all there but windows etc need putting back in!

I know it a bit vague but all comments/suggestions much appreciated.

:)

Ta.

Really depends on the car.

Not too much over a couple of grand I'd say maybe less.

Depends what features it's got in the mechanical department. Disc brakes? 1275? Alloy wheels? ...etc etc etc.

No paint will bring the price down as it would look cheap.

Also Clubman/Leyland vans are not all that rare yet. That's about as good as I can say from not seeing or inspecting the van at all.

You should come to Mini's At The Mill, usually a couple of people have Mini's for sale up there.

Also try either of the 2 Mini club's here in Adelaide for Mini's for sale.

We paid $1300 a couple of years ago for a 77 Clubby van, no motor or trim. But there's hardly any rust in it. 8)

My van was $250 but I've since spent $5000 on rust and panels.
I reckon you should spend between 2-6k on a healthy van and then give it a respray if all you want to do is change the colour and drive it.

Looks like 1-2K max there...I assume drums and not 1275.

Sorry "New from the uk and wanting a NICE little british car!" - this one was built in Australia :D

Is it silver or bare metal? and let us know it's details engine, brakes, suspension, interior etc etc :)
I like the look of it, it's got potential

Must've been big plans for it.
There's a lot of work in the cheese grater on the front.
:D

Generally with a mini (for me) if the body is good that's all I need.
Engine and brakes are a bonus.
