250 bucks, with an intercooler which i don't want and courier was about 100 bucks becasue the guy I bought it from wasn't around when thew courier went to his house...twice, so his mum eventually dropped it in to the courier, long story short, the dude was a lazy 24 year old living in south sydney. The carby I go for 40 bucks from a wrecker. So I didn't get it all cheap.

HS6, Ben said an HIF44 is best becasue of space reasons, but the fuel bowl will probably fit (that's why people use HIF44) becasue it's on the firewall side when attached to the kit, but we'll see, it was only 40 bucks and I took it appart and it's in really good condition.

Adelaide's 1/4 track is not operational. :(

I think 15-16s is probably what I'd expect from my car. Anyone else out of SA given a go?

Have you got sticky tyres?

I found this a must early on. I bought my 10 x 6 wheels with Formula R tyres just for show and track purposes in mind, but the car was unbdriveable if you thought about putting the foot down in 1st or 2nd so I've been using the tyres since I 'charged it.

Ben (92) said that his blown 998 did a 14.9 as a road car. 100hp at the wheels i think.

I remember the phrase "A flat 14" but can't confirm this. Either way his race car is awesome.

Old thread revival!

Apologies for digging this up if I shouldn't. It's a good read and a lot of people were keen on these kits.

Who ended up getting it and are they all happy? It looks awesome!

Anyone bought one recently? I've just messaged Ben to try and get one. Hope he comes on sometime soon :).

Great info here, saved to bookmarks!
