Well I've finally got my mini shell that I'm using as a template.
I picked it up from my local mini supplier for nicks (just as well cause its
stuffed) but front is dead straight. My plan is to fit the frame and engine to
this car because I need to keep my car on the road for as long as possible.

The painted engine (which I shouldnt have painted but I was impatient.

The frame in construction modeled off Matt power and Tricky's.

I think you'll find that hole is for shifter clearance.

I reversed my shifter for extra clearance and still needed a hole there.

Well done and the motor looks good.

dbr11k its for the gear linkage (its a tight fit) and it wasnt finished at that stage, but you need to pocket the tower.

G day Tricky , no didnt disassemble it just carefully masked , but I shouldnt have painted it as I have already scratched it and I've been super careful.
A lesson to all.
