I am in Morwell but I wont be of any help because I have never pulled a motor out of a Mini and do not want to either.

By the time you buy or hire all the equipment it is sometimes cheaper to take it to a garage and get them to do it for you.. Or maybe I am just getting to old to bother???

You can rent an engine hoist for a day for 50,
or you can buy a block and tackle for 100.

I think a sane mechanic would probably charge two hours at about 100 per hour wouldn't you think?

That's what I thought. I can't bend your back for you, and not all of us are as limber as we once were....

At 16 however you should be a supple as a rubber monkey! Just perfect for those pesky unis!
