Tasmans... the MK2 variety as the ribs bow outwards. I reckon they look better than dunlops and the MK1 tasman...

thanks for all the replies.

Is it possible that the seats and wheel arches and wheels etc could have been dealer or factory mods? if this mini is just a bog standard mini then i wont feel so bad about changing a few things.

I like a bit of history and if mine is something a bit diffeent i would like to preserve it somewhat.

i will try and get some more pics. I have cooper s brakes to go on now and just need to find a decent engine machine shop for the head conversion!!

No.
If someone wanted better seats the dealer would have sold them a better car. Yours has the trim level 1. Better seats from the factory would have been level 2. A dealer would not go through the hassle and cost of changing seats on the cheapest car on the market, they would have just ordered a car with a better level of trim.

The wheels are not factory.

The flared wheel arches on your car were not even available when the car was new.
A "Leyland Mini" came with no arches and steel wheels with hubcaps
A "Leyland Mini S" came with arches and sports wheels.
A "Leyland Mini LS" came with arches and alloy wheels.
