Hi all. Have had the mini for two weeks now and have'nt stopped smiling. However, the battery went flat which I thought was because it had sat for three months prior to my buying it. Took it to the auto elec and one of the cells had murky brown crap in it. Battery was dead. Bought a new one and put it in , had about two drives and tried to start it on Christmas day and only just kicked over. I have'nt taken it to be checked yet but was wondering if anyone else has had similar probs. Heeelllpp.

Its a long shot but check that the charge warning light isn't blown (i.e. it comes on when you first turn the ignition on) its part of the voltage regulation circuit.
