Does anyone know where I can get a pair of decal body stripes as used on the British Vita limited edition rover cooper sports pack cars as shown on the website below:

http://www.coopersports.co.uk/page3.htm

Any help would be great.

Have a look here:

http://www.minisport.com.au/category50_2.htm

Alternatively, http://www.minispares.com in the UK often has limited-edition stuff which you can't always get here.

Looks kind of difficult to find, if there were only ever 100 made, the market for replacement/replica stripes wouldn't be strong.

Saying that, might be worth giving Minispares in the UK a call - they don't have those stripes on the website but they did buy a heck of a lot of stuff from Rover after the mini went out of production, they will have odd bits & peices that aren't worth putting on the website cos they only have 5 or 10 of them. They just hold onto them and sell them when people enquire or have them in the showroom just sitting there (I picked up a couple of body-colour wing mirrors for 10 pounds (usually 40-odd pounds for just plain white) as they just had a pile of random colours left when i was there last year)

The other option is speaking with people who make vinyl signage and getting them custom done. Find some nice big pictures and take them along. Maybe find a UK forum where someone owns one and (after asking them if they know any sources) maybe ask them to take some nice pictures for you.

it's the blue car in the shed, you may not have seen it in the metal. it was in the readers cars in the 1st issue of the mini experience. colour, dashboard, front grill, some of the mechanicals, and front grill will be the only things not changed. The aim is a 998 austin cooper replica with a fast road 1100. Will keep you posted on progress as you may find the engine specs of interest. I am still going to make some dashboards I'll keep you posted on them as well as I need 2 in the next 6 months for myself and a customer I am building a car from scratch for. Do you know when the mini experience big day out is this year? I hope to have one of my projects finished for it and a customers car there as well.

I'll have a look at my library when I get home to check cc in combustion chamber but should be a fairly easy unbolt, bolt on job. you'll get a lot more out of your car with extractors, bigger su neddle to suit, and a better exhaust, cheaper and easier than a head swap as well. I can put you in touch with a good engineer for the head as well.

Any sticker or vehicle wrap business' can get them made up for you, all they need is a plotter and vinyl, and are only 1 colour so should not cost that much...

But looks like it would be easy to grab the 4" cooper logo decal from inisport them use some pinstriping from an auto centre to do the body line that looks like it just loops around the logo with both ends finishing at the front....
