Hi everyone,

Russell Engineering has finally managed to get the 1098cc pistons from the manufacturer, and are ready for purchase as of today. Along with the 1098cc piston sizes, Graham Russell also has new stock of the popular 998 and 1275 pistons that he previously had in stock.

PRICE: $250

SIZES: 998cc & 1098cc available in 40,60,80 and 100 oversize (Flat Tops)
1275cc available in 72.5 73 73.5 74 (1335cc,1360cc,1380cc,1400cc respectively)
(Note that the 72.5's have a 6cc dish, and the 73,73.5 & 74 have a 9cc dish)

Summary of the small bore pistons:
- 35g LIGHTER than small bore Hypatec pistons
- HIGH Silicon content which means a stronger piston
- RINGS are located higher up the piston which equates to a better seal and more compression, and also enabling greater piston ocontrol.
- SEMI-CHROME Top Ring (3 piece oil ring)

Summary of the 1275cc Pistons:
- Lighter than the 1275cc Hypatec pistons
- Better Squish area than the Hypatec pistons
- Better dish for higher HP
- RINGS are located higher up the piston which equates to a better seal and more compression, and also enabling greater piston ocontrol.
- SEMI-CHROME Top Ring (3 piece oil ring)

As an all round package, these pistons are fantastic. They are lighter and have a very high quality Ring Set. Remember the old saying - You get what you pay for....

I will buy a set of those .100 small bore pistons. Just to make sure they are still obtainable once I blow this new motor up. :o
