I agree with the above posts about the matic. Just because they don't understand them they have to bag them.
They are probably easier to work on than a manual box. :lol:

It is now a bit hard to buy all the parts for the automatics out here.
As said most Mini shops don't want to work on them- that's why many have (like mine) been converted to a manual.
So, these days you will tend to find these cars either converted, or stuck in workshop corners or chook sheds, barns or whatever.

I paid a bottle of Chivas Regal for mine, I then spent around $5K putting it back on the road, with 1310 Clubby GT power (from a written off GT). :D It was the only Mini I had at the time, and I wanted it fasterrr than a Matic.
