Anybody know who's got some NOS Lucas Australia ones?
I'm not interested in the Taiwanese copies (if still about), they go dull too quick.
Alternatively, where can I get translucent orange paint to recolour the amber in mine- maybe a model shop?

Yes , Tamiya do a range of clear colours in acrylic paint that works well , just paint it on the outside for an even colour , if it's on the inside it pools in the reflector bits and looks odd .

Doc,

It goes on the inside. I used it some years ago on a Renault 12's indicators and it worked a treat.

Test it on something first, but this is what I did...

- Remove the lens
- Clean and dry well
- Apply lens dye...don't go too mad with it or it will be very dark
- Allow to dry
- Re-fit...

Voila....

Do it in thin coats too or it can drain into the channels on the inside of the reflector and give you dark circles .
