Hi all I was just wondering what the best exhaust for my motor would be?

I have a set of bigbore LCB's and I am just wondering what kinda pipes and mufflers I should put on it?

Would I be better off buying a premade one or should I get the measurements and just get someone local to make it for me?

For an N/A overbored 1098 and LCB it's very hard to beat a 1-3/4 pipe and RC40 muffler.
What manifold is it- a bigbore Maniflow LCB is too big really, their standard bore is the go. A Perry LCB works fine too.

i got mine from steve @ bworx the pipe and rc40, wasnt too expensive.

SO I should pull my eBay auction for the S/H LCB and use that instead of the new Maniflow 3 into 1 on my 1184 ?

3 into 1 is OK on a longstroke motor too, we got 59.4HP out of Barney's 1293 at MDC with a Perry 3-1, that's over 100HP at the crank.

It's less droney on the road than an LCB is.

I need a new exhaust on my LS what would you suggest? I would like a nice note but keep original with a single left hand side exit? its a 1275

LCB is supposed to give more midrange torque on a 1275 but a 3-1 is better for economy.
I like the sound of the single RC40 side exit rear box, but if you want quieter, go the twin box version (resonator in main pipe ahead of it).
Stick with a 1-3/4 pipe unless the motor is well modified. Going too big can lose performance.
