Given the size, decore, and lack of vehicle storage, I suspect he has a second shed with more than just mini's in it.

I have a nice US book, "Ultimate Garages" by I think - phil berg. The first edition. Anyhow, there are some very nice garage setups in there. It is also worth googling ultimate garages and finding a website by an ex IBM exec who went all out to design and build the ultimate garage. he now has a business doing it for other people.

I can totally understand building the house around the garage. After all, isn't the garage is the centre of all activity?

You know, I cannot make the connection. What would compel you to think that a great garage needs a Liberal or Labour flag...?

I can't think of any reason one would need let the world know via your hydraulic hoist you think hillary is a hot number, or you're a gun toting redneck.....

A clean and tidy garage is a sign of a sick, sick mind.

A clean and tidy garage is a sign of at least owning a garage...which I don't. Bast**ds, the lot of you.

Everyday I walk to work past houses on large blicks with great big back yards and garages and it just gets me down.

PS Feral - nice Lotus, you don't see many Esprits around these days. What is it's current state of repair?

Not big enough - but still OK for a mini. The other side is taken up with the Monaro.

Down here in Gippsland, if you want to keep any vehicle in decent condition, even trailers, then it needs to be out of the weather all year round.

Sometimes you can be lucky enough to pick up some original BMC/Leyland signs or paraphenalia to give the exterior a lift.
