I can see my subframe getting its 4 holes slotted a bit, next time the motor is out.
If its any consolation, talking to a MGer today and (of course) similar problems are surfacing. A batch of gearbox mounts for Sprites were failing from new. The whole batch were about 2-3mm undersize...therefore ripping themselves apart once installed. Temporary fix is to use the new with a spacer plate.
