Steady bushes look fine, but I went to Karcraft today and now have 2 new Quinton Hazell mounts, and a set of steady bushes.. so I'll change the lot.

OK today I fitted a new Q/H mount to the clutch housing end only, and the vibes have 90% gone.
Was a bugger to fit as usual, although thinner than the captive nut ones they are about 2mm thicker than worn ones.
I can see my subframe getting its 4 holes slotted a bit, next time the motor is out.

If its any consolation, talking to a MGer today and (of course) similar problems are surfacing. A batch of gearbox mounts for Sprites were failing from new. The whole batch were about 2-3mm undersize...therefore ripping themselves apart once installed. Temporary fix is to use the new with a spacer plate.
