Next step is the coil then?
I would also check spark plug leads are on tight - but that would be more of a misfire problem.

Have you tried replacing the coil like I said earlier?

same problem happened to me a while ago

I should be around tomorrow afternoon after 3:30 or saturday.
I've got some spares you can borrow - dizzy, cap, leads, coil etc from when I took them off to convert to pulsar to try one by one and see what (if any) help.

ok, went over to KB's, and we tried fixing the problem,

replaced the coil with one KB had, didnt fix the problem, changed the points over off of KB's old dizzy, didnt fix it, changed over the condensor, still no fix, changed spark plug leads, no fix.

this is really starting to sh*t me off big time

have you tried the filter in the carb itself as i susgested before ???????????
