now my plans are right out the window..well kind of I have most of the bits i need to sort out a complete car just from spares.. havent even seen it yet, but apparently its pretty good and has doors and bonnet . they surely are an incurable disease that grows and spreads so rapidly you dont realise .
hopfully it can come home this weekend...

danidad you're out of control
i say its been less than a year since dani got her two shells
and now youve got your own two shells
its great and all, saving all these mini shells
(no one can argue with that)

but in all seriousness, if you want a working mini, youve gotta focus on one.
perhaps im underestimating your ability please put me in my place.

im not saying it cant be done, friends of mine have had 3ish cars not running at a stage. slowly getting worked on one by one

Anton,
In time, all the Clubbies will have rotted away, leaving only the original, proper Minis! :P

all in good time... and i have secure dry storage.. i have most of the parts i need already. it wasnt something i went looking for thats for sure, but its another shell saved .
like most plans ours have changed so many times .. what started out as an exercise to get danielle a fixer up mini has kind of changed a little.. but what started out as the parts car, is now no longer donating a lot of parts it would have if Dani's one hadnt turned out to be a Cooper (the two were purchased on the same day). so now we will fix the hydro on the S and Bob can donate his almost complete internal/ mechanicals to the K if it turns out to be a good body. Bob was a runner a year ago, and we have 3 spare 1100 motors and 2 x 1000 motors so no probs there.
will need some seats. but no panic.. we dont need a working mini in a hurry we have our daily drives
Not to worry Anton the clubby is still going to get done as per the original plan.. again we are not in a hurry... Mrs wouldnt let me give the clubby a miss, even if i wanted too...
The clubby is the only one that has a set plan ...
we still have another garage with 2x spaces in it too...hmmmmmmmmm

Hi Danidad,

PM me the details of these shells, I have a friend who has a motor with no car to put it in (divorce got ugly  ). I know he's after basically a rolling shell wityh not TOO much work needed, he'll just drop his motor in it & go.

Cheers
Matt

It would be going to Armidale NSW (not Canberra) which is about 6 hrs from brissy(did I see you were from the gold coast?)
I have co operative parents that don't think twice about jumping in the car and driving the whole weekend  so if it is a good shell and a good price I am interested
