just wondering if anyone has a set of twin or a single downdraft carbs and manafold they would like to sell. i am looking for something a little different for a 1100. just looking for something until i make something up for a sc12.

What kind of downdraft do you have in mind?

The only downdraft I have seen on a Mini is a Weber 2-barrel like on the Cortina GT's but anything is possible.

I have a down draft 45 weber manifold - never used - still in plastic wrapper.... No carb to go with it.

i have seen a set of small twin carbs off a morris 1000 or a sprite or something like that.

yeh i have seen a set of very small twins a long time ago at a swap meet off of a morry 1000 i think something like that would be good.

See Matt (theminiman) , he had a weber type downdraft manifold on his table at the mini muster , was tempted myself just for something different .

Was tempted myself Matt , always wanted to get a mini bug catcher from a Harley and have it through the bonnet on a downdraft ..... Just like being a little different :wink:
