You run the risk of a jail sentence.
If the vehicle were to come to SA it would not be registered and the police would be asking questions.
Maybe your rules are different, but if the rover body turned up with a rover engine in it some body is in poo.

Harley... steve was saying the rule applies to everybody.
"Me, you, the next guy."
I was asking if it included the girl next door, and her father.

Life goes on.... but it's getting harder to have things you enjoy.
I love my rover's and i love builing them, but now i have to justify to my clients why a car costs what it does.

I also have ten cars that have to be scrapped in japan because of this deal.
ten less cars, ten less customers.

thats because instead of fighting you all seem to have accepted this as inevitable... dont forget the govt wankers are ellected by us to represent our wants/ needs in parliment.. in fact they are representing the wants/needs of the new car makers and sellers who dont want us getting imports instead of buying a new holden or whatever.... its just big money trying (and currently succeeding in ****ing us over)
.. its not about safety, its not in our best interest, dont believe a skumbag pollie...
collective groups have power to change things and decisions can be changed and ammended but it will take some effort... are you prepared to fight for what you believe your rights in a free society are.....
this is the sort of thing that clubs should be doing, getting together to lobby for what we want
ask yourselves why the catholics get the lions share of the education budget....
because they put preasure on the govt to do so or they will advise voting for the opposition , and they have the numbers to make a difference ..
however we dont want a handout we just want our rights, who gave one of our servants (cos thats what pollies are) the authority to take away our rights to own a particular car....

there are enough mini clubs and members, their friends and family who would put their names to paper .. even people non mini related would sign because everyone hates the govt thinking it has the right to arse shunt people.

so do you want to fight, or do you want to drop ya pants and bend over for Johnny.

Okay.... Ive read all that...... but still a couple questions, brickworx....

1. No more WHOLE post-89 car imports... correct?

2. Pre and Post 89 half cuts are allowed?

3. Does this mean I can still buy the Rover parts I'm after at the same price?

4. Pre-89 imports will still cost the same, or cost more? (like the 16000km black one you sold, for example)

5. Does this mean your business plan will change from what you were saying on Saturday? As long as we can still get the newer bits to improve our classics......
